Michigan pot shop offers chance to win free weed for 1 year
Skymint dispensary, with 24 locations across Michigan, offers concentrates, edibles, flower, pre-rolls and other cannabis products.
Marijuana consumers rejoice: Skymint, an Ann Arbor-based dispensary, offers the chance to win free cannabis for a year through a giveaway.
The giveaway began Monday, April 10, and runs through Thursday, April 20. A 10-gram joint, a $500 Airbnb gift card and several “party packs featuring exclusive brands you cannot find anywhere else” are also up for grabs, according to Skymint’s website.
Michigan residents interested in winning can enter via in-store kiosks at one of Skymint’s 24 locations. No purchase is required and one winner will be randomly selected each day until the promotion ends. You also have to follow the company on Instagram to win. There is no limit on the number of individual entries.
The grand prize winner of free pot for a year is expected to be announced on April 20. The grand prize will be provided as a “monthly coupon allowance loaded onto the winner’s loyalty account redeemable in-store for up to $500 of product.”
Skymint Farms
Skymint is the state’s largest medical and recreational license holder. Its operations launched in the fall of 2018 and include two indoor grow facilities and a 1,000-acre sun-grown, sustainable farm.
“We are giving away free weed for a year again in response to our customers who wanted a second chance and to continue to spread the love of Michigan-grown cannabis,” said Summer Ransom-Cleveland, chief retail officer for Skymint, in a Monday statement. “We want our communities to thrive. Happy people growing happy plants further this mission, and we are proud to lead the Michigan cannabis industry in this way.”
The company offered a similar giveaway in January 2023. The winner was an East Lansing woman.
